What is the Tricky Tray Dinner?
The HSA’s Tricky Tray dinner is a fun-filled evening filled with lots of excitement and exhilaration, where you will have the opportunity to win gifts and gift baskets ranging in price from $50 - $500. But that’s not it! You get to enjoy a night out with friends for a nice dinner and lots of laughs. And if that’s not enough, think of all the money raised for our wonderful schools!
Why is it so important for our schools?
The Tricky Tray enables us to help fulfill each school’s “Principal’s Wish List.” Past spring fundraisers have enabled us to purchase things, such as smart boards, playground equipment, and many other valuable educational tools. All money raised directly benefits the students at both Stevenson and Churchill Schools.
May I donate to the fundraiser?
Absolutely! Any gifts will be greatly appreciated and will add to the success of our tricky tray. You might even want to chip in with another family or several to donate a larger prize. All gifts will be acknowledged in our program. Please fill out
Gift Donation Recording Form
to attach to your gift.
May I make a cash donation or donation from my business?
Yes. Any cash will be used to buy items for the auction. Just fill out
Gift Donation Recording Form and send in your donation in an envelope marked Tricky Tray Committee and we will do the rest. Or you may contact one of our Donation Committee Chairs and we will gladly pick it up for you or you could drop it off to one of us. All gifts purchased will be acknowledged by whoever donated the money.
What kind of gifts might I win?
- Nintendo Wii
- Coach pocketbooks
- Electronics
- Jewelry
- Gift cards to great restaurants, salons and stores
- Ipad 2
- Flat screen TV
- Gift baskets
- AND MUCH MUCH MORE!!!!
How Can I Help?
Everyone is welcome to volunteer their time to help us in anyway that they can. The following assistance is needed: solicitation, wrapping of gift baskets, set-up the day of the event, working the night of the event. Please print and fill out
Volunteer Form if you are willing to donate your time. It takes many people to help make this a successful event for our children and we can not do it alone.
How do I purchase a ticket and make seating arrangements?
Print and fill out the
Dinner/Admission Ticket Purchase Form and send it to school with your child in an envelope marked “HSA tricky tray tickets” or contact Michelle Trigazis (973-747-7892 or
gaz660@aol.com ) or Katie Raniero (973-978-5607 or
kraniero13@yahoo.com ) to arrange purchasing your tickets. You will then be given a tricky tray ticket. If you would like to sit with friends, buy a table together. All tables sit 10 people. Please do not feel as if you can not come alone. We will do our best to keep grade level parents together at the same table, unless of course you purchase your own table. If there are a group of friends you would like to sit next to, please specify it on your purchase form. We will make every effort to accommodate your request; however we can not guarantee it.
What should I do now?
Don’t delay! Buy your ticket now! There are only 300 tickets and we have already sold some tables! You don’t want to be left out of this exciting and worthwhile event! Also, if you are able, get out there and shop for your tricky tray donation. And last but not least, call one of the committee members to get involved!
